Is the Waiting List Open?
Currently the Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is open.
Elm City Communities/Housing Authority of New Haven (ECC/HANH) will announce the reopening of the waiting list at least 10 business days prior to the date applications will first be accepted. If the list is only being reopened for certain categories of families, this information will be contained in the notice.
ECC/HANH will give public notice by publishing the relevant information in suitable media outlets including the following newspapers, minority publications, and media entities:
- New Haven Register
- Inner City
- La Voz
- The City of New Haven’s Office on Disabilities
- State of Connecticut website
