Rockview Phase II began construction in June 2019. Rockview II will include 78 total units with 62 affordable units and 16 market rate units. Units will range from two to four bedroom and will be constructed in townhouse style units.
These new, spacious units feature kitchens with modern appliances, such as gas ranges, dishwashers and garbage disposals. Units feature plenty of kitchen counter space and cabinets plus separate linen storage. Each apartment comes with conveniently located mailboxes, water, sewer and trash removal included, and on-site resident parking and off-street free parking. The community offers 24 hour emergency maintenance with free pest control services. The units are built to HERS energy standards to assure sustainability and low utility costs for our residents.
CARES
The CARES Program (Caring About Resident Economic Self-Sufficiency) introduced the concept of term limits into the public housing and Section 8 programs administered by ECC/HANH.
- The CARES Program (Caring About Resident Economic Self-Sufficiency) introduced the concept of term limits into the public housing and Section 8 programs administered by ECC/HANH. All residents, except those exempts under the program requirements, will be subject to a 72-month time limit on receiving rental assistance. The second component of the program requires certain individuals to participate in an extensive 24- month case management, supportive services program designed to overcome barriers to becoming self-sufficient.
- In addition to required one-on-one meetings with a Coordinator, CARES staff conducts outreach to engage all residents by continuing communication with flyers, case management, weekly email chain with updates/information among staff and participants, which enable our residents to effectively gain and maintain access to resources that can assist participants in pursuing opportunities in achieving self-sufficiency.
